Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been declared for UG / PG Admission for the session 2018-2019.
Candidates who will be appear in the Admission Test for UG Courses and whose application form duly filled in correctly in due time, Admit Card will be issued by the Aligarh Muslim University of them for 2018-2019. Important Note:- All above courses last date for apply on 08 March, 2018.
Candidates who are eligible can apply within 8th March, 2018 for all the above courses admission for the session 2018-19. Candidates must check the eligible criteria and admission process from the official Information programme.
Admit Card: AMU 2018
Admit Card to appear in the Admission / Departmental Test will be issued by the University only to those candidates whose Application form, complete in all respects, has been submitted successfully on the Controller’s website on or before the last date of filling as notified in this Guide.
No Admit Card shall be sent by post. For Admission Test Courses, Admit Cards will only be downloadable from the Controller’s website www.amucontrollerexams.com.
Maximum Age Limit for the purpose of admission:
1. To safeguard the academic interest of students, the University is constrained to define the maximum age limit of the applicants for the purpose of admission to various course of studies as given in Table-I.
2. Candidates shall be eligible to apply for admission to only those full-time regular courses of study where they have not exceeded the maximum age limit as permissible for that course.
3. Maximum Age Limit shall be reckoned on 01st July of the year of admission.
4. Maximum/Minimum Age Limit as prescribed by the regulatory bodies, wherever applicable, shall stand for that course of study.
5. Maximum Age Limit shall not be applicable for Foreign Nationals/ employees of the University.
6. Madrasah passed out candidates shall be given a relaxation upto three (03) years in the Maximum Age Limit for all course of studies at all levels.

Application Form - AMU 2018:
The application Form is to be filled ONLINE, i.e. the candidates have to fill the Application Form directly on the website.
01. Before filling up the Application Form, candidates are required to read instructions carefully given in every step as available in the online portal.
02. Candidates have to fill the Application Form directly on the website and make online payment. (There is no need to submit the physical copy of the Application Form)
03. Details of Admission Test Fee / Processing Charges: Details about the Test Fee/Processing charges is available on the relevant pages in this Guide, Only Online payment mode is available for depositing the Test Fee/Processing charges. The online payment detail will automatically be posted in the respective column of the Application form. The Physically Challenged candidates having 40% disability are exempted from the Processing Charges / Test Fee, however the candidates will have to produce relevant document in support of their claim else their candidature is likely to be rejected at any time.
How to Register- Through Online:
01. The candidate should register online and provide his / her correct and functional email because the username and password etc. will be sent on this email.
02. Please note every candidate will register separately and will get his/her username and password to access his/her Dashboard for filling as well as tracking the form(s).
03. Only Single Registration is sufficient for applying to the multiple courses by a candidate.

05. Name of the Candidate: Enter the full name of the candidate in capital letters exactly as mentioned in his/her High School / Secondary School Certificate. Do not use Mr / Master / Ms / Miss etc. before the name.
PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:
1. The Application Form is submitted electronically the moment the candidate makes the payment of the processing charges and payment is successful.
2. The candidate may take the Printout of the Application Form on A-4 Size paper and keep it for his/her future reference.There is no need to send the hard copy of the Application Form.
TEST CENTRES:
1. The University reserves the right to change/cancel any Test Centre without assigning any reason.
2. The University reserves the right to allot any Test Centre to a candidate irrespective of the preference indicated by him/her on the Application Form without assigning any reason.
3. Complete addresses of the admission Test Centres in various cities will be available on Controller’s website well before the commencement of the Admission Tests.
4. For courses where selection is through departmental Test, the Test Centre will be only in Aligarh. A list of cities where admission Test for various courses of studies is to be held is given below. Candidates are required to indicate in Application Form their preference of Admission Test Centres against the available Test Centre options for various courses:

Eligibility Requirement:
01. B.A. /B.Sc. /B.Com. / B.Th. degrees prescribed as the eligibility requirement for various Course of Studies in this Guide are three year Degree Courses under the 10+2+3 system of education.
02. Candidates are required to fill separate Application Forms for each course of study as detailed in this Guide. However, candidates should submit a single Application Form for courses for which a combined Test is to be conducted.
03. Application Forms shall not be transferred from one course of study to another under any circumstance.
04. While applying for various courses of study, the candidate is advised to consult the schedule of Admission / Departmental Test which appears under each course of study, wherever applicable, so as to ensure that there is no clash in the Test schedule of various courses for which the candidate is applying for admission. The University assumes no responsibility if the candidate has opted for more than one course of study for which the Tests have been scheduled simultaneously.
05. No request for change in address for correspondence as specified in the Application Form shall be entertained.
06. For all courses where Selection Process is based on (or has a component of) candidate’s performance in the Qualifying Examination, the candidate must submit self attested photocopy of his/her marksheet / grade sheet of Qualifying Examination (both sides) so as to reach in the respective offices as given under each course of study up to 5:00 PM on or before June 18, 2018 failing which his/her Application Form will be summarily REJECTED.
07. Application No./ R.No./ Transaction ID should be quoted for all queries or correspondence and at the time of submission of required documents. The documents submitted without mentioning Application No./ R.No./ Transaction ID will not be considered. The receipt of the documents shall be given by the concerned office.
08. If the candidate’s formal result of qualifying examination has not been declared on the last date of submission of the marks sheet of the qualifying examination, then he/she may submit self-attested copy of his/her Internet Downloaded Marks Sheet. The same shall be subject to verification from the Original Marks Sheet at the time of admission and in case of any discrepancy in the marks of individual subjects or aggregate, the offer of admission shall stand cancelled and no representation shall be entertained.
09. A candidate whose qualifying examination is not recognized by this University shall not be eligible for admission. All such Application Forms / admissions shall be rejected / cancelled.
Application Forms may be rejected if :
a) Submitted incomplete.
b) Not submitted on prescribed form
c) Submitted without requisite fee,
d) Submitted after the last date. and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. No relaxation in the last date shall be granted.
