Vidyasagar University Directorate of Distance Education, Midnapore, West Bengal has invited online application from eligible candidates for admission to Post Graduate Courses in Bengali, English, history, Sanskrit and Political Science and also M.Sc in Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science and Dietetics and Community Nutrition Management. Which the UGC approved PG course offered by the University through distance mode for the session 2020-21.

M. Com

M.A. in Bengali

M.A. in English

M.A. in Sanskrit

M.A. in political science

M.A. in History

M.Sc in computer science.

M.Sc in in environmental science.

M.Sc in in dietetics and community nutrition management.

M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Geography (M.A./ M.Sc applied mathematics) and applied Mathematics.

Eligible criteria for admission PG courses.

M.Com, M.A. in Bengali, English, Political science, History and Sanskrit.

Candidates must have 3 year general  graduate/ honours /special honours/ 3 year pass graduate with a minimum of 300 marks in the subject concerned / one year bridge course in relevant subject in M.A. in a subject (other than professional subjects) age eligible for admission into any of post graduate subjects except the professional courses.

M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Geography, (M.A./ M.Sc Applied Mathematics) and Applied Mathematics.

Candidates must have honours /special honours/ Major degree in relevant subjects are eligible for admission to M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Geography (M.A./ M.Sc Applied Mathematics) and applied Mathematics courses.

M.Sc in computer science:

Candidates must have honours degree in computer science Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Electronics or BCA courses to apply for the M.Sc Computer Science course.

M.Sc in Environmental Science:

Candidates must have special honours degree measure three year general graduate degree in science subjects including geography and economics are eligible to apply for M.Sc in Environmental Science course. Sponsored candidates with ordinarily 3 years experience in science laboratories industries and academic and research institutes will get a lesson from these criteria in such a case one year pass three year graduate is also eligible for apply. Sponsored candidates can take admission only in this university's authorised centre.

M.Sc in Dietetics and Community Nutrition Management:

Candidates must have with honours in psychology zoology, Nursing Biochemistry Chemistry, Nutrition Food and Nutrition, Home Science, three years general Graduate Degree with any one of the subjects B.Sc (Ag/Vocational Major) for MBBS/BHMS/BAMS are eligible to apply for the M.Sc in Dietetics and Community Nutrition Management Course.
