Haldia Refinery, one of the refining units of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, one of the largest business enterprises in India and a Fortune 'Global 500' company, as a National Skill Building Initiative invites applications from candidates for appointment as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961/1973 (as amended) in various trades/disciplines at its refinery located at Haldia, West Bengal. How to Apply Online?

Submit the online application form which requires completing both the steps mentioned below.
Step One: Register on the NAPS/NATS portal and apply for the opportunity mentioned on the NAPS/NATS portal.
Step Two: Start the application by opening the IOCL website.
Candidates must have their own valid email ID, mobile number and a valid and active apprentice registration or enrolment number registered on the NAPS/NATS portal.

Note:

The Corporation shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices after the completion of the apprenticeship period and an apprentice cannot claim any employment on completion of the apprenticeship.

Age Required:

1. 18 years to 24 years as on 31.5.2025 for General/ EWS candidates.. Seats will be reserved as per the orders of the President and government instructions. Relaxation of upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates shall be extended as per Govt. guidelines. Detailed advertisement along with prescribed educational qualification and other eligibility parameters will be available on the official website.
2. Marksheet/ Certificate issued by Board of Secondary Education for passing Matriculation (Class X) Examination shall be the only acceptable document in support of age.

1. Candidates meeting the above prescribed eligibility criteria should visit our IOCL website www.iocl.com / www.iocrefrecruit.in from 03-05-2025 till 02-06-2025.

2. Candidates willing to apply must have a valid and active Apprentice Registration/Enrolment Number registered on NAPS/NATS portal. They must ensure that their profile is 100% correctly updated.

3. Applications are invited by Indian Oil for Apprenticeship at its Refineries at Guwahati, Digboi, Bongaigaon (all 3 in Assam), Barauni (Bihar), Vadodara (Gujarat), Haldia (West Bengal), Mathura (UP), Panipat (Haryana) and Paradip (Odisha).

4. A candidate can apply for apprenticeship in any one of the Refinery units and in any one of the trade/disciplines of his/her choice.
