These teams will be the top 8 teams according to the ICC Men's ODI Team Rankings and four teams from the 2026 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. The final standings at the end of the group stage of the ICC ODI World Cup 2026 determined the teams eligible for this competition.

Here is the list of teams that have qualified for the 2027 ICC World Cup:

  • 1. South Africa (Host)
  • 2. Zimbabwe (Host)

This was the list of teams for the 2027 Cricket World Cup, the upcoming cricket mega-event scheduled to be held in October and November 2027. India's participation in the tournament is yet to be confirmed, as it will be determined based on the ICC rankings.

Hosts of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027:

South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia are the host nations for the ICC Cricket World Cup. These countries will host the World Cup matches across twelve different venues: including grounds in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

As host nations, South Africa and Zimbabwe have automatically qualified for the competition. They will now be joined by the top eight teams from the ICC Men's ODI Team Rankings and four teams from the 2026 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers.

Although Namibia will be co-hosting the competition for the first time, they will not receive an automatic spot in the tournament as they are not a full member of the ICC. Consequently, Namibia will have to go through the regular qualification process.
