Customer eService Portal Available from LIC of India

LIC of India’s e Services Portal : Policy Holders / Customers.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) has offered e-Services to Policy Holders / Customers with on demand service within a few clicks! Policy Holder / Customer can now have many of the functionalities that were available only at a branch office, online at your fingertips. Policy Holder / Customer can now avail to check the Policy Status online/SMS/Phone or e-Services through the official website.

In case Policy Holder / Customer, you are unable to login & pay premium through New e-Services Portal (Registered User option), You are requested to access Old Customer Portal or Pay Direct (old).

Process for Registration on Portal : for Policy Holders / Customers.

  • For registration for Online Services on Portal, keep the following ready:
  • Policy numbers on your own life & on the life of your minor children.
  • Instalment premiums under these policies (without service tax/GST).
  • Scanned image of PAN Card or Passport, with file size less than 100 KB. The scanned image should be preferably in .jpg or .jpeg format. However, images with the following formats can also be uploaded bmp, png, gif, .tiff

Now visit the official website www.licindia.in and Click on “Customer Portal
If you have not registered earlier for Customer Portal, click on “New user” baton.

Provide the following details:

Policy Holders / Customers visit the official website www.licindia.in, and click on the tab “new User”, then select your own user-id and Password and provide all the necessary information. i.e. Policy Numbers, Date of Birth, Instalment Premium and Email id.- Now you are a registered Portal user.

Policy Holders / Customers for availing e-Services, click on the tab -

  • ‘e-Services’,
  • login with the user-id created and register your policies for availing the e-services by filling up the form provided.
  • Print the form, sign it and upload the scanned image of the form.
  • Upload the scanned image of PAN Card or Aadhaar Card or Passport.
  • After verification by LIC’s offices, an acknowledgement e-mail and SMS will be sent to Policy Holders / Customers. Now Policy Holders / Customers are ready to avail LIC’s e-services.
  • Click on Submit button:
  • In the next screen, Policy Holders / Customers will be required to choose the user id and password of your choice and submit.
  • Login through this newly created user id and click on the option of ‘Basic Services’ “Add Policy”
Enroll all your remaining policies. (as mentioned in point no.1).
Thereafter, follow the 3 step process for registration for Premier Services, below.

Registration for Premier Services:
01. If you are already a registered user, login with your user-id and password for LIC-Portal.
02. Follow simple 3 step process-Registration, Printing and Uploading of documents.

Step 1—Filling up Registration Form:
01. Basic details including Date of Birth, mobile no, e-mail id provided at the time of registering as a Portal user will be automatically incorporated in the registration form.
02. Provide PAN Card or Passport details.
03. All the eligible policy numbers enrolled (policies on own life and on the lives of minor children) will be displayed at this stage.
04. For policies on the life of spouse, separate registration will be required to be done by him/her.

Step 2Print Form
01.Click on Print / Save form and print the registration form.
02.Check the details of the registration form and sign it.
03.Create a scanned image of the signed form and any one of the KYC documents (PAN or Passport)
04.The file size of the scanned image should be maximum 100 KB.
05.The scanned image should be created in any one of the following formats: .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .tiff

Step 3Upload Form / Check status:
01.Upload the scanned image of the registration form through the option provided.
02.Upload the scanned image of PAN Card or Passport.
03.After the documents are uploaded, click on submit the request.
04.An acknowledgement SMS and e-mail will be sent to the mobile/e-mail id provided in the registration form.
05.This request will be sent for verification to our Customer Zone.
06.After verification by our Customer Zone Official (within 3 working days from the date of registration), an acknowledgement e-mail and SMS will be sent to you.
07.Now you are ready to avail our Premier Services.

Services activated after validation of Policy Holder’s / Customer’s request:
Following Services will be activated only after your request for e-Services is validated by the Czee Official of LICI:
1. Policy and Proposal images.
2. Claim history.
3. Service Request Registration for Online Loan.
