Higher secondary examination will be taken as per the prescribed schedule. The state government has announced that all schools in West Bengal will remain closed till July.
The West Bengal Education Board has decided to close all schools in the state till July 2020. Education Minister of West Bengal, Partha Chatterjee said this at a press conference on Saturday. Partha Chatterjee said that Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has asked all schools in West Bengal to remain closed till July, 2020. So we will keep all schools closed till July.
The Education Minister further said that the main goal is to protect the health of students, teachers and education workers during the crisis of this corona epidemic. However, even if the school is closed, the subjects for which the examination has been given will be taken according to the predetermined schedule. In this case, special importance is being given to all the schools that will be used as higher secondary examination centers, those schools will be disinfected. This is because some schools have been used as quarantine centers to prevent coronavirus infections. The district administrations have been officially instructed in this regard.
