West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) Higher secondary examinations in West Bengal have been canceled. The results are expected to be released by July 31, 2020.
The last 3 days of HS exams were canceled due to a lockdown to prevent corona virus infection. It was then announced that the date of the Higher Secondary Examination would be taken on July 2, 6 and 8 but the schedule of the examination was canceled considering the present situation.

It is learned that the West Bengal state education board wants to release the results by July 31 on the basis of assessment instead. But there is no obligation, those candidates who are unhappy with the assessment can also take the test.
West Bengal Education Minister Shri Partha Chatterjee today (26-06-2020) announced that the examination program on July 2, 6 and 8 has been canceled. This decision has been taken in compliance with the order of the court.
This test has been canceled as per the recommendation of the expert committee. The education department wants to release the results by July 31. The Supreme Court has agreed to cancel the examinations in the remaining subjects of Class X and XII. The apex court has accepted the proposal of CBSE to publish the results of the 10th and 12th class candidates after evaluating the results of the previous exams.

A three-judge bench headed by Hon'ble Justice A.M. Khan Wilkar said today (26-06-2020) that the CBSE results would be released by July 15. Following the Supreme Court's order, both the CBSE and the ICSE said the board would release the results in accordance with the assessment procedure taken in mid-July.This time, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is also thinking of publishing the results in the same way.
