Importance of Good health - Everybody Needs Good Health
Health is wealth:
This word known to all of our society. We know everybody needs the good health to improve and protect for our Physical, mental, and social health well being. Human health is organized by two Critical factors the inherited genetic characteristics from our parents and environment and living habits. Generally, we can do nothing to alter our genetic inheritance, but we can benefit our health by choosing the correct life style and living habits. This should mean we lower our risks of developing so many diseases like cholera, cancer, and improve our quality life. Good health is of immense importance, for personal happiness, family progress, and for the prosperity of nation. It is therefore, we are trying to progress our good health.
Civic Responsibility, especially in respect of Health: Majority of our people in the country have little sense of Civic Responsibility. We do nothing or provide very little help to our fellow citizens in their sufferings.It is one of the objectives of health education to cultivate a sense of civic responsibility and make people conscious about the social health crimes they usually commit, like spiting anywhere and everywhere, coughing on the face of others, sneezing without using handkerchief hands to avoid droplets. In spite of health, knowledge people do not isolate the patient suffering from some infections disease, or shift him to the hospital even in serious condition.
Health Programme: Therefore, I want to say and suggest that why not compulsory education in every educational institution or in organizations in the world? I think, it should be implementing and learning compulsory in every Educational institution. No health programmed can be implemented without the help of a school. Because the child has more capacity to assimilate education. He is like clay that can be molded in any shape. Habits and behavior adopted in childhood remains even in adulthood. It is health education that helps the child to attain healthy habits and attitudes. This is possible only through 'Health Education' which develop a healthy and scientific attitude towards health. 'Health Education' is very impotent role to perfect and effective for make a Good health society. Good health shall not come only by taking one or two tips or tablet everyday nor by observing a few restrictions. It can be achieved by understanding what health is, on what it depends and then applying this knowledge in everyday life.
Food habits for Good Health: This is very important thing. Foods eaten by us are converted by our body into heat and energy, which keeps us alive, and give us strength to work. Thus, food provides the material needed for our growth and replenishes the waste inside us whether we are working or resting.
Therefore, we should eat food that supplies our body with the correct ingredients for sustaining our system. These essential ingredients are:-
1.Vitamins 2. Minerals, 3. fats, 4. proteins and 5. Carbohydrates.
Exercise for Good Health: I think Exercise is one of the main ways to keep fit our body.Regular scientific Exercise is keeping up slim our body,and systemic circulation of blood in all our muscle and bone. Free hand Exercise is very helpful for keeping our body fit.
Rest and sleep for Good Health: It is very essential for our health. it is impossible to keep healthy unless the body and mind rest and sleep.The body must have reasonable leisure and that leisure it gets while we are resting or sleeping.Health education is concerned with everyday living as it affects the individual, his family and community. it attempts to improve mental and physical health of a man or society. Specific and valid health attitudes applied in everyday life can strengthen the individual health practices,attitudes and interests so that health becomes a state of complete physical mental and social well being and merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
In this respect Health education compulsory need to implement in every Educational institution for make good health in our society.
